High Moor 2: Moonstruck now available. Plus 2 more reviews and an AMAZING competition.
It’s been a busy week for me. The launch party for High Moor 2 was a roaring success. Everyone that attended had a great time and the sales of the novel are doing very well indeed.
You can pick the novel up by following the links below.
In addition, there have been two more fantastic reviews, from Hellnotes.com and Bram Stoker nominated author, Brett Talley. You can check out what they had to say by following the links. So far, everyone seems to agree that High Moor 2 surpasses the original, which makes me very happy.
and finally – the competition. My editor, Simon Marshall Jones who runs Spectral Press, one of the top small presses in the UK has offered a free manuscript edit of up to 40,000 words for one lucky winner. This competition is being run from the novels Facebook page, but I’ll post the rules below. This is an incredible prize, worth up to £400.
OK, I launched this competition on the High Moor 2 book launch, but because the prize is so astonishing, I thought I should open it up a bit more.
Simon Marshall Jones, of Spectral Press Freelance Editorial, who did such an amazing job on editing Moonstruck has offered one lucky winner a free manuscript edit up to 40,000 words. This is a major prize, worth up to £400!
As such, I’m going to make you work for it. Please read the competition rules below carefully.
1: Click “Like” on the following Facebook pages.
2: Buy High Moor 2: Moonstruck from Amazon, and press the “Like” button on the books product page. The links are below. Once you’ve done this, share your purchase on Facebook and Twitter.
3: Leave an HONEST review of the book on Amazon. I don’t want fake reviews, and I don’t want people giving it five stars just because it’s a competition (although, if you really enjoyed it then feel free). Any obviously fake reviews will be disqualified. Any reviews without the Amazon Verified Purchase tag will also be excluded. When you have left your review, copy and paste the text as a comment in this thread.
4: The competition runs until 30th April 2013, and the winner will be chosen at random.
5: If the winner wants to submit a longer piece than 40,000 words for editing, they can, however they will be charged 1p per word for anything over the 40k.
That’s it. Good luck and I’ll post the winner after the competition ends.
